Additional Quick Fix Meals: 200 Simple, Delicious Recipes to Make Mealtime Easy Information

Robin Miller is the host of the new series on Food Network, Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller, which provides viewers with recipes, time-saving tips, and strategies for serving up fresh, healthful meals every day with the least possible effort.

In Quick Fix Meals, Robin shares her best time-saving strategies for putting fresh, delicious food on the table every night. Her recipes are organized by these techniques, which include Meal Kits (pre-prepping the ingredients for a weeknight meal on the weekend, bagging them, and having them ready to go in the fridge; the result--meals that can be on the table in literally 10 minutes); Morph-It Recipes (enjoy Herb-Crusted Turkey Tenderloin one night and you've got the makings for Chili-Rubbed Turkey Medallions or Pan-Seared Turkey with Apples and Melted Blue Cheese another night), and Greased Lightning, unbelievably tasty recipes that can be put together and on the table in 20 minutes. There are also Simple Sides that go together in no time, as well as, for those who just can't live without dessert, a collection of In-a-Snap Sweets.

What Customers Say About Quick Fix Meals: 200 Simple, Delicious Recipes to Make Mealtime Easy:

The recipes are easy, quick, and lots of times, I don't have to go out shopping because Robin uses items that most well-stocked pantries and refrigerators already have. I have tons of cook books and this is one of my favorites.

I make Sesame Chicken with Garlicky Broccoli, Hoisin Beef with Vegetables and Ponzu Chicken with Vegetables on a regular basis. I enjoy Robin's Miller's approach to weeknight meals - prepping ahead, preparing extra ingredients to jump start the next night's meal, morphing one dish into something else so your kids don't complain about left overs. This book is a keeper. Who needs Chinese takeout. It's practical, time-saving and feasible. This cookbook is one of my favorites, especially the asian-inspired dishes.

I'll say this, I don't have a ton of cookbooks nor am I a gourmet chef or much of a cook for that matter. There were a couple that were okay, but it could have been the ingredients I was using. I have bought a couple of Rachel Ray's books (from a few years ago and not recent ones) and the few that I tried, it seemed to be hit and miss. The first two recipes I tried, the olive spiked pork tenderloin and brussel sprouts w/ bacon & shallots, my wife loved it.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this book. So after making a few recipes with them turning out well, I bought the book from Amazon. The only complaint I have with this book, but really any cookbook, is that it always seems to take me twice as long to prepare everything than what the cookbook says. Recipes are very straight forward and I really like how she points out where you can prepare items ahead of time. But that is probably because I'm not very fast in the kitchen since I didn't grow up as a cook and my previous specialties were making burritos and meat loaf. :-) I am the type of cook that follows recipes pretty much to the tee, as I don't seem to have a very refined pallet that can tell the difference between subtle notes of different herbs or can really tell if I need to add more salt.

Besides, I knew it was a winner when my wife said she would never eat brussel sprouts, but really liked it after making it, twice. I've also chopped up a bunch of veggies and froze them to help reduce my prep time. My sister recommended this book and I first borrowed the book from the library to try a some of the recipes. I have since made a dozen other recipes and most of them, my wife really liked.

A great buy for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of time or money cooking up great meals. Easy to use and fantastic meals. Good flavors, simple ingredients, quick to make.

Robin Miller demonstrates how easy it is to make healthy meals with lots of variety. AWESOME.
